What are the different brow lift techniques (endoscopic vs temporal vs coronal)?

#

The three primary surgical approaches are endoscopic brow lift, temporal (lateral) brow lift, and direct or trichophytic brow lift.

Clinical Pathology & Literature Context

Endoscopic Brow Lift: The modern gold standard utilizing a miniature HD camera and 3 to 4 tiny 1.5 cm incisions completely hidden within the hair-bearing scalp, releasing the periosteum down to the orbital rim with minimal trauma and rapid healing. Temporal / Lateral Brow Lift: Focuses specifically on elevating the outer third (tail) of the eyebrow to correct lateral hooding and create a refreshed almond-eye contour. Trichophytic / Direct: Placed directly at the anterior hairline for patients with very high foreheads to prevent advancing the hairline further back.

Surgical & Post-Operative Recovery Protocol

Over 85% of modern cases utilize minimal-incision endoscopic or temporal techniques.
