Why there are no before-and-after photographs

The NMC guidelines of 6 October 2026 (Public Notice R-13014/01/2024-Ethics) state that a doctor shall not display "before and after" photographs or advertise surgical results (clause 8.1(v)). Patient consent does not make this permissible (clause 6.2). Therefore, the earlier before-and-after gallery was removed on 25 October 2026. At a consultation, Dr. Purohit explains what surgery can and cannot do for the individual patient.
