Precision Maxillofacial Trauma Reconstruction
High-speed vehicular trauma, falls, and interpersonal violence often cause complex fractures of the delicate facial skeleton. Improperly treated facial fractures lead to permanent functional and aesthetic deformities: misaligned dental bite (malocclusion), sunken eye appearance (enophthalmos), persistent double vision (diplopia), and facial flattening.
Dr. Vishal Purohit brings specialized plastic surgical techniques to facial fracture repair. We utilize low-profile biocompatible titanium miniplates and reconstructive meshes through concealed incisions—inside the mouth (intraoral), along lower eyelid skin creases (subciliary), or within the hairline (coronal)—leaving virtually no visible facial scars.
Common Facial Fractures We Treat
Mandible (Lower Jaw) Fractures
Fractures of the symphysis, angle, body, and condyle. Repositioned into perfect anatomical occlusion and stabilized with tension-band miniplates, allowing early jaw mobilization without prolonged wiring shut of the teeth.
Zygomaticomaxillary Complex (ZMC / Cheekbone) Fractures
Restoring 3D cheek prominence and freeing the temporalis muscle to allow normal mouth opening.
Orbital Floor Blowout Fractures
Releasing entrapped inferior rectus ocular muscles to resolve double vision and rebuilding the orbital floor with preformed titanium mesh to restore correct eye globe projection.
